He is also known as a member of APCO and NENA and he became the President of Roswell High School Foundation and the Bradshaw Men's Golf Association. John has always been a big fan of golf and he also plays it. He got a golf scholarship at Augusta State University and won the Augusta City Amateur Championship in 1983.
