
Montgomery Communications- The Montgomery Communications
Center went out to bid in 2008 for a new recording system to replace
their dated Dictaphone system. After reviewing the bid responses the
center decide to go with Quality Recording Solutions and the Eventide
VR778. The VR778 is equipped the ability to record 112 channels, Hot
Swappable Hard Drives and Hot Swappable Power Supplies. Due to the
amount of call volume the center receives, the recorder is connected to
a 1TB storage server which it backs up the recordings for easy
retrieval.

Tuscaloosa EMA - When emergencies happen, David Hartin and his
staff don't have to worry about the recorder going down because the are
using an Eventide VR725 which has total redundancy. Their logger is
equipped with Dual DVD drives, Dual hot swap power supplies, Dual
mirrored hard drives and multiple playback positions. Their system is
also equipped with a Touch Screen Front Panel which gives them total
access to the recorder in the event their network goes down.

Center Point Fire Department (AL)
- Battalion Chief Gene Coleman trusts Quality Recording and
their Eventide recording solution to make sure that all the critical
calls and radio transmissions coming in and out of his center are
recorded 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The Center Point Fire
Department's communication center is equipped with a 16 channel Eventide
VR725 and the latest remote client software available.

Covington County 911 (AL) -
Quality Recording installed a new Eventide VR725 recording
system in November of 2006. The solution is a 40 channel system with
multiple remote and instant recall positions. The system also has total
redundancy for optimal system reliability.

North East Regional Medical Center - NERMC has been a customer
of Quality Recording Solutions for many years. QRS has recently upgraded
the hospitals Eventide VR320 to an Eventide VR725 with digital tap which
records calls directly from its Nortel Digital PBX. NERMC also purchased
multiple instant recall and search and playback positions for its nurse
station.

Lee County Sheriff's Office- Sheriff Jones and his staff have
relied on Quality Recoding Solutions and their Eventide VR725 to handle
all of their recording needs. The Sheriff's Office purchased the VR725 in
2006 with the capabilities to record 24 analog channels. They recently
upgraded the phone system to a VoIP system but there was no need to
purchase a new recorder because their Eventide VR725 was built to be
able to migrate to any phone system they decided to use.

Vestavia Hills Fire Department- The Fire Department purchased a
Eventide VR725 in 2007 to record all of their dispatch communications.
The system is equipped with 24 channels to record all of their radio and
telephone traffic. The VR725 also came with remote software which
enables the administration to check on the status of the system and
access recordings from the comfort of their office.

Cullman County- Quality Recoding Solutions installed and
maintains four Eventide VR778s in Cullman County. Roger Humphrey, with
Cullman County 911, purchased the recorders for the Sheriff's Office,
Cullman PD, Cullman EMS, and Hanceville PD. All four system have dual
DVD/RAM drives which enables each PSAP to keep a copy of their
recordings and the 911 center to have a copy of all the recordings from
the four PSAPs.

EBSCO (Subscription Services)- EBSCO had a recorder that did not
have the capabilities to record VoIP phones. They replaced their
antiquated recorder in 2007with a new Eventide VR725 so they would be
able to record their new Cisco VoIP phone system. EBSCO also purchased
the quality assurance soft suite that is offered with the Eventide
recorders so they can grade and assess their employees performance. Back to News Page |
